Why train in wool?
Wool is closely associated with winter wardrobe, but few people know how excellent it is as a material for athletes. It's worth investing in woolen clothing when creating your training winter wardrobe because it's a natural material, very versatile, and offers many benefits, crucial for outdoor sports.
Wool is a material that, thanks to its properties, is perfect for exercises and active leisure. Merino wool provides maximum wearing comfort, and garments serve as an ideal base layer for outdoor sports. The material breathes, so you won't sweat excessively or get chilled, which is especially important for outdoor sports. Wool has thermoregulatory properties — when it's cold, it warms, but when it gets warm, you won't start sweating. Only high-quality wool can guarantee this. Additionally, it effectively protects against cold air. It ensures maximum thermal comfort. Importantly for athletes, the yarn doesn't pill, doesn't fluff, and is resistant to UV rays, retaining full elasticity.
Clothing care – how to care for woolen Trail leggings
Woolen leggings don't require serious maintenance, but it's important to care for them in a specific way — they will then maintain their perfect appearance and unique properties. Take care of your Trail leggings by regularly exposing them to air — this way, they'll regain freshness and be ready to wear. If you notice minor stains, clean them with a damp cloth. For heavier dirt and hard-to-remove stains, hand wash at 30 degrees or machine wash at 30 degrees (wool wash program). Iron at temperatures up to 150 degrees. Do not bleach. Dry horizontally. Avoid a tumble dryer, which damages fiber structure. Store the leggings folded flat. Proper care ensures ideal preparation for the next season, and the leggings will maintain excellent condition. Enjoy them for as long as you want, remembering the most important rules for caring for high-quality wool — it's really worth it!
