The Speed Wool sport jacket is our latest addition to the Active collection. We felt the need for outerwear that could keep up with the challenges of sports in low temperatures. Our proposal is a lightweight but very warm jacket that will excel in winter outdoor activities. Whether it's running on a frosty morning, cycling in the middle of winter, rollerblading, mountain hikes, or even mushroom picking?

You don't have to give up on these activities and wait for warmer days. The Speed Wool woolen jacket will provide you with the protection you need when the temperature drops. It's a solution for those who value freedom of movement and practicality during sports activities in winter conditions.

To create this model, we used Italian fabric that has a significant advantage of wool in its composition. The fabric is created using the ripstop technique, which involves adding additional, stronger fibers to the fabric at regular intervals, protecting it from potential tears. Additionally, the jacket contains 9% polyamide. This is Nylon 6.6, used in the production of the original CORDURA with Invista license, a so-called special-purpose material. Nylon is characterized by a distinctive fiber cross-section and is the most durable type of polyamide used in textiles. This exceptional durability is one of the distinguishing features of our jacket. The material also has natural elasticity, allowing it to smoothly adapt to your body movements.

The jacket is zippered and features a chest pocket (e.g., for a phone), side pockets, and one at the back. The back pocket has a drawstring closure and is designed to accommodate a water bottle. It also has cuffs with elastic, ensuring that no unpleasant gust of wind enters the sleeves. The jacket has drawstrings at the bottom, a hood with a stiffened visor and drawstrings across the face and over the head. This allows you to adjust it well with or without a helmet. The compact size makes this jacket very practical, and you can easily fit it into a backpack or tie it around your waist.

• Washing: Remember, wool does not absorb odors and dirt easily, so it does not require frequent washing. However, if needed, you can wash the product in a washing machine at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees, using the wool wash program, on low spins, and without spinning. Iron the product at a low temperature.

How to wear the Speed Wool jacket?

To ensure thermal comfort in temperatures even down to 0 degrees Celsius, use it as the second or even third layer. Pair it with an additional layer of Merino wool, such as leggings and long sleeves from our Active collection. Complete the look with a hat or neck gaiter. Although it's not an insulated jacket, it will perform well during endurance sports.
